Instant Flower Rangoli

Today on the occasion of Pongal festival, when my friends kept sharing pictures of beautiful Rangolis and Kolams created by them in front of their houses, I really wanted to make one myself. Being in a foreign land far away from home, I didn’t have immediate access to Rangoli powders, but desperstely wanted to make one instantly. When I looked around the house, I found some fresh flowers bought a week back. An idea sparked in my head!! 🙂

I did cut the petals really small and made this instant rangoli on a white ceramic plate. 🙂 To add a dash of contrast, I placed spots of turmeric powder at the intersections,That’s it!! Finally done!

Though I wouldn’t say this is 100% perfect, it definitely fulfilled my desire and gave me cent percent happiness and satisfaction!
