Sabudana (Javvarisi) Vada in Paniyaram/Appe Pan

This is an interesting, easy and yummy snack recipe by my friend Swathi.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup Sabudana/Sago/Javvarisi
1 medium potato
2 tablespoon crushed peanuts
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro leaves
1 green chilli, chopped fine
salt(as per taste)
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
oil
1 medium sized onion , chopped fine
1 inch ginger, shredded fine

Instructions:

Wash, rinse and soak sabudana in water for 3 hours.
Boil, peel and mash the potato.
Mix soaked sabudana and mashed potato.
Add chopped green chillies , cilantro leaves, crushed peanuts, ginger, salt, chopped onion. Add lemon juice and mix well.
Knead like dough, dont add water
Make small balls out of it.
Heat appe pan and add some drops of oil in each mould
Place sabudana vadas in appe pan.
Turn vada once it becomes brown , cook until all sides are completely brown.
serve it hot with coconut chutney.
