P.V. Sindhu is an Indian professional badminton player. At the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, she became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal.
She was born on 5 July 1995 in Hyderabad, Telangana.
P.V.Sindhu Coach:
Pullela Gopichand is a former Indian badminton player coached Sindhu. Presently, he is the Chief National Coach for the Indian Badminton team. He runs the Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad. He received the Arjuna Award, the Dronacharya Award and the Padma Bhushan – India’s third highest civilian award.
P.V.Sindhu Parents:
Father P. V. Ramana is a former professional volleyball player. He was a member of India men’s national volleyball team He received Arjuna Award in 2000 for his contribution to the Indian Volleyball.
Mother P. Vijay is also a former professional volleyball player.
Sakshi Malik is an freestyle wrestler, won the bronze medal in the 58 kg category wrestling at the Rio Olympics 2016 becoming the first Indian female wrestler to
win a medal at the Olympics . She was born on September 3, 1992, in Rohtak, Haryana , Mokhra village.
Sakshi Malik Coach:
Shyam Budaki who trained Sakshi for past one and half years for Rio Olympics.
She began training in wrestling at the age of 12 under a coach, Ishwar Dahiya.
Sakshi Malik Parents:
Father Sukhbir Malik, a bus conductor with Delhi Transport Corporation, and
Mother Sudesh Malik, a supervisor at a local anganwadi (health clinic).
Dipa Karmakar , is the first Indian female gymnast ever to compete in the Olympics and the first Indian gymnast to do so in 52 years. She attained 4th position in
Women’s Vault Gymnastics event of Rio Olympics 2016 .
She was born on 9th August 1993 , hailing from Agartala in Tripura.
Dipa Karmakar Coach:
Bishweshwar Nandi, who for the last 16 years has been dedicatedly giving her training and taking her up to the level of Olympics from remote Tripura.

Father Dulal Karmakar, a former Sports Authority of India coach, and Mother Githa Karmakar, is a home maker.
