Pebble Painting

Hi Folks,

My five year old’s collection of pebbles and his enthusiasm in converting them into colourful shapes, ignited an interest in me,  to try out a painting on this little pebble. The result turned out to be pretty interesting!

Procedure

* Choose any pebble which has atleast one of the sides flat.

* Wash, clean and let it dry well

* Paint the picture in your mind or from any reference using acrylic colours on the pebble. Use minute tipped brushes,(eg: nail art brushes)  for better results 

* Let it dry completely

* if needed use a sealant or gloss over it for longevity.

Note:  For creating cartoon characters on pebbles, you can use permanant markers. These are pretty easy to make.
